Chain of Command: Chapter 25

1/23/2015

NOTES: One week left! Where did the time go? As I gear up for the mad rush you may hear from me this weekend. I'm going to spend the rest of today cobbling together the finale, but I think I'll need a couple installments this weekend just to keep on schedule. Good news: this morning the ending popped into my head. With that in hand it's time to glue everything together. Keep shooting your ideas my way, let me know the questions you still think need answering, etc... Back to the story...

Damn, Mr. C - this is your best so far, pulling away from the other books, and looking like a winner!

You just keep getting better and I enjoy reading and re-reading all of the books but this one is becoming the top dog. I'm glad that Gaucho is alright and can exact some ass kicking when the time comes.

All branches of the military are in jeopardy and have their problems and bad people mixed in not just the Marines and we are seeing that today with the Delta group.

You know, Mr. Guthrie, may be right! This may very well be your best novel! Chapter one set the tone! This book has certainly generated passionate feelings and kept me on the edge while waiting for the next installment. I hope that you wrap it up with a bang. I hope to "see" the bad guys go down with Cal and company delivering fire and brimstone!

Sigh of relief. Glad everyone in the car survived. But now I want "the rest of the story". Who's the boss? How did the sniper find them? Is the NCIS guy dirty? It could be just a red herring, but it's suspicious that right after they left the Ellswood home and called what's his name, the sniper fired. Setting up the hit and bribing the semi-truck driver would take time, but it's apparent the shooter knows where Cal & co. are at all times. Someone close sold TJG out? Bugged mobile phones or vehicles? Interested in where you take us next, Carlos.

The story keeps getting better and better. Sure glad Gaucho was not murdered. Your stories are so realistic, I still believe you would make a great leader for this country.

First, thank goodness the guys are okay. I'm not ready to lose any of them right now...there was enough loss a couple chapters ago. This was another great chapter. Can't believe we are getting close to the end.

Great chapter and like everyone else, I'm glad everyone is ok in the car. I am really looking forward to seeing how this will end but I don't want it to end. There are loose ends that need to be tied up, the NCIS agent, the boss, the saving of the Marine Corps and all the other details that keep us on the edge day after day. This will be a best seller, again, great job.

It's a good one, Cooper. It's a little strange, though, not to see a lot of involvement from Cal et. al. until near the end of the book. Not that I'm complaining because I think the book is great. It was just a thought that crossed my mind. Can't wait until all the loose ends are tied up.

As an aside....I was thinking about the cover for Daniel's book. I didn't care for the face because it was so angular and evil looking, but I was thinking.....maybe a cover with a more normal face with the accent on just the eyes. Like they used to do in the old movies with the lighting on the eyes giving them a more hardened look to them. Just a suggestion...

I have been thinking about who the boss is I was think Whit worth...then McKnight...but someone has to have can inkling of TJG and what they do...otherwise why target them...why do so much to get them out of the way...I know you like to throw a wrench in here and there...so with that in mind...Who are you going to reveal and what is next?

Thank you for sparing Gaucho...can't wait for him to be able to get some get back.

I'm really getting pi$$ed now! Can't wait to see them get their comeuppance, big time.

Thanks for a super ride this time; best so far! Keep up the great work, keeping us all on the edges of our seats.

And yes, there are some nits I can pick when the time comes, CG.
