It does not. I've written each to stand on its own. Most people, however, like to start at the beginning and go from there.

Why do you write Short Stories?
Rather than bog any of the full-length novels down with back stories, I wanted to fill in some of the gaps with short stories. The great part is that if you want to read the shorts, you can. If you want action, action, action, stick to the novels.
