Chain of Command: Chapters 30 & 31

NOTES: The characters are converging in my head. The action's picking up. The plot thickens. That must mean we're getting close.

Tomorrow is the big day. Let's see if I can knock it out of the park, or at least go down flailing and try not to thud :)

Awesome chapter CGC...Moore seems to be a nasty character with a plethora of identities...the intrigue is building and I can't wait to see what happens next.

My, but this is an interesting, suspenseful, extensive plot! I know Mr. Cooper will, but it certainly is beyond me how all this can be wrapped up tomorrow!! Can't wait!

Wow!

I cannot imagine you tying this all up in a nice little bow by the weekend. There still seems to be so much more to go.

And yes, I've got my work cut out when the grammar police spring into action. But note that even so, it hasn't taken any focus from the fact that you're spinning an incredible web here, CG!

Now we know that Barrett is clean, but the poor guy is incapacitated. How the heck are you going to wind this up in just a few chapters? Mrs. Ellwood is held hostage in her own home and the SOB sniper is going to rough her up. McKnight is still a loose cannon and apparently no one knows he's up to his armpits in this sh*t. Wentworth is smug, thinking everything is in the bag, and Gower, his new enforcer, is right there with him. TJG hasn't made the connection about the former Delta member feeding information to his handlers. It will be interesting how everything plays out, but as in real life, I'm sure some of the lowlife pond scum will evade justice. And that, more than anything, has me anxious as hell. To think that 400+ lives were taken and not all the culprits will be raked over the coals has me bloodthirsty! Which is an uncomfortable emotion.

Wait.....I'm confused. Isn't Gower dead and Mason is now set to be CEO? And if they can find out Gower went to the resort why can't they find out that Mason is there, too? I think Daniel needs to go back to the Ellsworth home and take out Moore. One sniper to another.

Wow! Like everyone else, I can't wait to see how you are going to wrap this up tomorrow, so many loose ends. It's really amazing how your mind works, what a gift. Ok let's get on to tomorrow.

Once again I'm amazed that I didn't see that coming with Moore. I usually figure where the author is going ahead of time but you consistently surprise me with your twists and turns. I think that is why I love reading your stuff. Can't wait to see how you wrap this up but there are so many loose ends right now I'm.not sure how you can get that done quickly.

Most of what Judy said I'd agree with totally. The exception is the uncomfortable emotion for being blood thirsty. I'm definitely bloodthirsty and the sooner the better but I'm very comfortable with that emotion. In fact I'd like the opportunity to spill some of the blood in those evil unconscionable people. Bring it Carlos!!!

And I thought you would need 2 books to solve this! Silly me. Carlos, you have summed up so much about our government in just a few statements. Why don't you run for office and fix the mess we are in?
I am sad the book is almost finished but am looking forward to the ending. I really hope you destroy all the bad guys so justice is served.
Thanks for the ride. It has been exciting and emotional. I love your work. Thank you!
Love reading all the others comments as well.

I think Marsha is on to something! A showdown between snipers (good guy/bad guy) Daniel is going to take Ellsworth down every time! Poetic justice. Like many have posted I'm not sure how you wrap it up in just another chapter or two but this has been a great ride!
