Yowza! And you're only giving us ONE chapter today? It's a doozie, but holy smokes! Now I'll spend the evening worrying about the guys.

Wonder if the shooter was that slimy SOB that watched Ellwood kill himself?

Anxious to see how all this pans out and I hope NCIS gets to the Ellwood place soon.

The twist just keep coming. Wow! I think this is turning out to be the best book yet. Who is after them now? Will Gaucho be alright? When can they start taking out the bad guys? How should this all end? Looking forward to another chapter tomorrow to last through the weekend. Great job.

1st. The congressman's involvement becomes knowledge. 2) The sob's who murdered the marines are found and killed in a firefight.3) Everyone in Cal's car is ok and gets some payback!!!! That is all for now but i will think of some other things to help you finish this book. So far a great read and i have told some of my friends to download you free books to see if they get as hooked as i did on your writing. GREAT JOB!!

Mr. Woodword, Sr. is, as usual, right on target! I would add hard prison time for the fancy congressman. I think he would fit right in! Yes, death by fire fight for the others...a slow painful death.
And, of course, all good guys are okay.

Not Gaucho! I agree with Mr. Woodward, time for payback and let Cal and TJG get the bastards! Now they are seeing the conspiracy and the players...time to get busy! Great chapter.....on the edge waiting for the next.

Somebody has to be able to connect that slimey congressman MsKnight...unless you are saving him for another go round...in a future novel.

Whitworth has to get caught up and get his come uppance...but not before doc Higgins gets a hold of him and picks apart his depraved mind and gets the Intel on who killed our MARINES.

Daniel Snakeyes Briggs gets to draw a bead on the sniper that tried to take him out and who just shot Gaucho (who although injured will survive and be able to go get some.)

That's just for starters and I definately will need to have shooting and blowing stuff up to feel like the innocent have been avenged.

Is it just me, or is anyone else concerned that the NCIS agent is a bad guy? I mean, I know he went through all that with Briggs when they were shot at, but nothing ever really happened to them and it could have just been done to throw them off the agent's involvement. I just don't trust him for some reason, but I've been known to be wrong before.

As for what might happen in the rest of the book. I concur with everyone else in their ideas and I know going in with guns blazing is TJG's style in most cases, but I was thinking that this might just be a good time to get their benefactor involved more. Jonas, being the billionaire that he is, is bound to know how to "do a dirty deed" in business so that Whitworth is totally destroyed financially.

Ok....I tossed my 2 pesos worth into the pot....

Anger, shock and vengeance are forefront in my mind. My heart aches to think of the traitors in our government. Cal and all his guys need to be ok because justice is required for the dead marines and Cal's group is the strike force to do that job and no good guy can blame Cal's group for letting some vengeance color the justice. Goucho is only stunned, thanks to the under armor he's wearing and Daniel will be the one to not only silence the other sniper but the money man and congressman as well as they meet to plan further mayhem.
I only wish I personally knew the men who are the muses for Cal and his group. I know they exist. We so desperately need them at this time in our history.

Holy Cow!!! The suspense is killing me!!! This is so close to how our government really works that it is mind blowing!! I can't wait to read the next chapter! I really hope that McKnight gets what's coming to him!

It is a sad commentary on how this country is run, or how we perceive it being run, that so many of us see this story as plausible. It is time we all stand up, no matter what party, and push for some fundamental changes that will eliminate the "professional politicians" and their life long cronies and advisers, all of whom are more concerned about being reelected and lining their pockets than they are about taking care of the country and their constituents.

Terms limits, restrictions on multiple retirements, and forcing our Representatives and Senators to be subject to the same laws, taxes, and restrictions that they place on us are just the start of where we should be going.
